Gottex has a remarkable collection for the Spring 2010 season with the fusion of technology and luxury. Hand crafted details such as laser cut jewel-like embellishments, innovative fabrics including laminated tulle and plasticisized lycra all gave the collection an amazing modern interpretation to swimwear.
Gottex has made highwaisted bottoms for swimwear acceptable. I wasn’t a fan of them this past summer, but I think next summer I’ll be rocking these. One of my favorite looks were those with the bikini top with short sleeves. These are perfect for women who conscious of their arms—like myself.
Gold, Black, Coral Red, and blue were the dominant colors.
The beachwear such as cover-ups were super-sexy and best of all…actually wearable…to the beach.
An awesome debut for the new head of design for Gottex, Molly Grad. She did exactly what she set out to do: “I am going to take the DNA of the brand and give it a fresh direction without forsaking its incredible past.”
